Chart Indicators

Chart Indicators are lines or series' of data points that are derived from an issue's opening, high, low, and closing prices and/or volume. They attempt to either graphically confirm or not confirm price movement or identify overbought or oversold areas. None of them work all the time, and they all have their ideal "working conditions." The prudent trader should experiment to see what works best for him/her. Here are many common technical indicators used by professional traders.
